Brilliant colour with deep purple nuances. Fine, elegant nose with floral notes of iris, violet and peony. Soft and round on the palate with lovely length revealing floral and dark berry flavours of blueberry and blackcurrant.

Brilliant ruby red in colour, with bright aromas of fresh, ripe red fruits, raspberry, plum and a touch of blackcurrant. On the palate the wine is medium bodied with smooth tannins, good acidity and balance and a nice juicy finish.

The Crianza is impressive - intense youthful ruby in colour, with the vanilla oak perfumes well integrated with the juicy black fruit on the palate and fine, savoury tannins.

A bright ruby colour, the bouquet opens with cherry, raspberry and the distinctive spice of Pinot Noir, with subtle undertones of oak derived vanilla. Supple and smooth in the mouth with lashings of sweet fruit, finely polished tannins and balanced acidity; this finely poised backbone with vibrant fruit flavours and varietal spice notes, gives the wine great length and focus.

Attractive bright ruby colour, with a violet hue. Aromas of fresh red berries, with spice and herb complexity. The palate has intense, rich flavours with the refreshing acidity of good Syrah and smooth-textured tannins to balance the juicy berry fruit.

Aromas of white and black pepper, violets, plum and a subtle chocolate and leather spiciness. A medium bodied complex wine in the mode of northern Rhône, showing plum, pepper and cinnamon characteristics with a slight bacon note on the finish. A firm acid backbone with silky tannins harmonises with the fruit and culminates in a warm ripe finish.

Lifted aromas of cherries and plums, with a hint of redcurrant. Attractive floral notes also shine through which are nicely integrated with savoury mushroom and toasty oak characters. Classic cherry flavours on the palate, supported by hints of plum and redcurrant. Structurally the tannins are soft and silky, while the well balanced acidity ensures good length of flavour.

Salbide has a pure, concentrated, red-fruit perfume which gives way to a cranberry and raspberry character on the palate. The fruit flavours are supported by a gentle spiciness and subtle tannins of barrel ageing, as well as a lively acidity which is characteristic of this part of Rioja.

A wine drinkers wine with a big character. It has a very strong ruby colour with a deep smell of spices, red berries, chocolate and slightly smoky. In the mouth it has various sensations and flavours with red fruit being the dominant taste. The well structured tannins and its complexity are a result of careful aging in oak barrels which also assists in its long finish. Previous vintages have won many awards including silver medals at the International Wine Challenge, silver at the Mondial de Bruxelles and silver at the Challenge du Vin.
