A wine drinkers wine with a big character. It has a very strong ruby colour with a deep smell of spices, red berries, chocolate and slightly smoky. In the mouth it has various sensations and flavours with red fruit being the dominant taste. The well structured tannins and its complexity are a result of careful aging in oak barrels which also assists in its long finish. Previous vintages have won many awards including silver medals at the International Wine Challenge, silver at the Mondial de Bruxelles and silver at the Challenge du Vin.

This wine is selected from an award winning vineyard in the Douro Valley in Northern Portugal. Muros de Vinha has a dense dark colour with aromas of cinnamon and jam. It is full bodied with ripe tannins and a long and complex finish, with the fruit and oak in perfect harmony. Suggestions: Can be enjoyed by itself or with red meats, cheese, mushrooms and meat risottos, game and warm, herby stews.
