Chardonnay `Le Clos Jordanne Vineyard` Twenty Mile Bench (Case of Six)
Light gold in colour with perfumes of white flowers and stone fruit on the nose. On the palate it is tightly-knit and intense, with flavours of ripe pear, lemon curd and lanolin offset by a rich, racy acidity. The oak ageing is just enough to bring out the honeyed character of the grape without masking the chalky, gunsmoke, minerality which characterises top Chardonnay wines.

Initially fairly restrained on the nose this wine comes forward on the palate with intense pear and melon notes with touches of white peach and layers of floral notes. It is racy with plently of minerality, a smooth texture and a long lasting finish.
